Designed & built by hand
Every site in this archive was designed and built by the same pair of hands. No theme was purchased, no template inherited, no page-builder wrestled. The design decisions survive into the code because there is no handoff for them to die in.

Most of these sites ship under a hundred kilobytes of JavaScript, render their first screen in under a second on a cheap phone, and keep working when the network doesn't. Performance is treated as a design material, not a lighthouse score chased at the end.

Each project starts with the one question its visitors are actually asking — is it open, what does it cost, can I book — and builds the first screen around that answer. The spectacle, where there is spectacle, comes after the utility.

Every build ends with the client able to edit their own rates, menus, episodes or case studies without calling anyone. A site you can't maintain is a subscription, not an asset.
